This year, instead of having a silent auction at the Gala, we will have an online eBay auction. This will include the items that were typically part of the Silent Auction with the exception of the classroom/student donated items which will be sold at the Classroom Market. Parents unable to attend the Gala will now be able to bid on and purchase these items in the comfort of their own homes!

The silent/eBay auction will begin Friday, March 2nd and end on Friday March 9th at 7pm.  Items will be entered for viewing 3 weeks prior to the start of the auction.  We will send out the url for our store in February – stay tuned!

Winning bidders will be able to pick up their items in the Sandpiper Library on Thursday March 15th from 2:30-5:30pm.

We will offer assistance to those families that are not familiar with eBay. The computer lab in the Library will be open at the same times as the Classroom Market (Thursday and Friday, March 8th and 9th from 2-7pm). We can help you set up an eBay account and show you how to place your bids! Please note, a Pay Pal account is not required for our eBay auctions.

Creating an account on eBay is simple:

1. Go to www.ebay.com

2. Click on the “register” link at top of page

3. Fill in name, address, email etc and choose user id/password

4. Enter credit card info - Your card will not be charged or shared with eBay sellers. Your personal information is protected by eBay's Privacy Policy and encrypted by industry-standard software.

5. eBay sends you an email with a link to activate your account You are now ready to bid on items in our store!

6. *Note: You can pay by check or Mastercard/Visa at the time of pickup. Just select "check" as your payment method if you want to pay in person. If you have a PayPal account already, you can use this method of payment as well, but this is not required.
